About the role:

If you are looking to shape the digital future of a global conglomerate, then we have a great opportunity for you as Manager in Business Intelligence and Reporting. We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual to lead a dynamic team responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting key business metrics; and help guide the team on insights and automation. 

This role combines people management, stakeholder engagement, and individual contribution, focusing on day-to-day reporting, transforming reports, and driving automation and centralization of dashboards. Collaboration with internal stakeholders, ensuring data integrity, and fostering team and individual execution are key aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

People Management and Leadership

Lead and manage a team in Business Intelligence, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.

Review team deliverables, set performance expectations, and foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Reporting and Governance

Collaborate with the team to create Power BI/Excel dashboards for key business metrics.

Oversee reporting of fundamental metrics and follow-ups.

Create detailed SOPs for all reports, ensuring reporting logics and assumptions are well-documented.

Project Management and Stakeholder Engagement

Lead and support specific projects, managing portfolio initiatives.

Provide regular updates to leadership on project progress.

Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to ensure requirements are captured and reported accurately.

Technical Competencies & Service Delivery Requirements

Utilize Power BI knowledge to enhance reporting capabilities.

Demonstrate strong analytical ability, breaking down data sets into meaningful interpretations.

Ensure effective communication, understanding requirements, and representing data as per business needs.

Automation and Process Improvement

Identify automation opportunities, driving productivity for the team.

Focus on the centralization of dashboards and reports, transforming existing reports.

Work on continuous improvement tools to enhance team efficiency.

Required Skills and Experience

Master's/Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

5+ years of experience in business intelligence or related field, with exposure to project management and reporting.

Power BI certification is preferred.

Excellent business communication (verbal & written), interpersonal skills, and stakeholder management.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for analytics and presentation.

High learning agility, accountability, and effective collaboration skills.

Interpersonal skills - Able to work in a global environment and with stakeholders located in different regions of the world.

Excellent Eye for detail: The person needs to have the observatory skills to identify the problem in the most accurate manner and articulate the observations.
