About the role
The Manager, SCM – Business Excellence: Data & Process Transformation will lead the supply chain transformation agenda across Productivity (Cost Savings), Master Data, Working Capital, and Resiliency initiatives. This role demands deep experience in supply chain operations, strong people leadership, and the ability to execute high-impact programs that drive measurable business value.
The Manager will own strategy, design, and execution of supply chain data and process transformation initiatives spanning procurement, sourcing, and category management, with direct accountability for portfolio delivery across global sites and stakeholders. The role includes managing a team of specialists/analysts, leading cross-functional programs, and partnering with global supply chain, finance, and operations leaders to deliver scalable, digitally enabled business solutions.

1. Strategy & Leadership in Process Transformation
- Define and own the transformation roadmap across multiple pillars: Productivity (Cost Savings) reporting & automation, Master Data governance & standardization, Working Capital optimization (DPO, Payment Terms, 1x centralization), and Supply Chain Resiliency initiatives.
- Lead a team of specialists/analysts and drive portfolio execution against business targets for these pillars: -
- Productivity (Cost Savings): Centralize productivity reporting across factory, indirect, and logistics sites; identify and capture clawbacks and missed opportunities.
- Master Data: Standardize and govern supplier, item, and contract master data; execute price, vendor, and supplier onboarding centralization across regions.
- Working Capital: Expand DPO/Payment Term initiatives, centralize 1x governance, target WAPT improvements with measurable working capital impact.
- Resiliency: Drive Dual Qualification and Supplier On-Time Delivery (SOTD) initiatives to strengthen supply chain flexibility and risk mitigation.
- ·Analyze end-to-end supply chain processes to identify structural improvement opportunities; drive strategic changes to improve cost, speed, compliance, and operational resilience.
- Lead, coach, and develop specialists/analysts; allocate resources, prioritize work, and review deliverables to ensure high-quality outcomes and meet business milestones.
2. Reporting, Governance, and Oversight
- Lead the design and implementation of Power BI/Excel dashboards for executive-level analytics, insights, and business metrics across procurement and inbound supply chain.
- Own the governance model for critical procurement metrics, including cadence, definitions, and alignment with finance and category teams.
- Drive transformation and centralization of reporting with a strong focus on automation, data integrity, and auditability.
- Own procurement master data quality KPIs and governance processes, ensuring consistency across systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle) and regions.
3. Advanced Stakeholder & Team Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for global and regional procurement, category management, and sourcing leaders on master data and reporting topics.
- Align transformation projects with business priorities; provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress, risks, and impact.
- Promote effective collaboration and communication across global teams; facilitate workshops and steering meetings to harmonize processes and standards.
- Influence stakeholders to adopt standardized processes, data definitions, and tools, balancing global governance with local business needs.
4. Technical Competencies & Advanced Analytics
- Oversee the use of Excel, ERP, Power BI, and other tools for scalable enterprise reporting and analytics.
- Lead advanced analytical initiatives driving business value across the key projects owned.
- Sponsor and guide automation and system-integration efforts to reduce manual work and improve data reliability.
- Champion digital and analytics innovation in supply chain reporting and master data (e.g., standardization, data quality rules, exception management, and workflow).
Requirements
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
12+ years’ experience in supply chain or manufacturing, with significant exposure to data/process transformation, procurement, sourcing, and category management.
Deep expertise in supply chain management, master data governance, procurement analytics, and operational finance with hands-on experience in data quality initiatives and reporting automation
Proven experience managing teams (5+) and leading complex programs or transformation initiatives in a global environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; advanced experience with Power BI, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), and emerging digital tools strongly preferred.
Demonstrated track record of driving transformation, simplifying complex data landscapes, and delivering measurable business impact.
Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive organizational change.
High learning agility, accountability, and strong collaboration skills across cross-functional and cross-regional teams.
