About the role

Technology Lead for SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) Tools Implementation is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of the Kinaxis Rapid Response platform (along with other SAAS tools) within the SIOP process. The ideal candidate will be a technical super user for Kinaxis, with deep experience in configuring, optimizing, and deploying the platform in manufacturing environments. This role requires both a strong technical background and a consultative mindset, ensuring that the solution is aligned with the unique business needs of Make-to-Order (MTO), Engineer-to-Order (ETO), and Make-to-Stock (MTS) production types.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Kinaxis RapidResponse Implementation:

- Lead the end-to-end implementation of the Kinaxis platform within the SIOP process.

- Configure, customize, and integrate Kinaxis to meet the specific needs of the manufacturing client.

- Serve as the technical subject matter expert and super user for Kinaxis, providing hands-on leadership throughout the implementation lifecycle.

- Ensure the solution aligns with the business processes for MTO, ETO, and MTS product types.

- Conduct system testing, validation, and user training to ensure optimal adoption of the Kinaxis platform.

2. Technical Leadership:

- Act as the technical lead for all aspects of the Kinaxis solution, including design, architecture, and data integration.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, operations, supply chain, finance, etc.) to ensure seamless integration of the Kinaxis platform with existing systems.

- Lead the technical troubleshooting, issue resolution, and ongoing optimization of the Kinaxis solution.

- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and availability within the system for SIOP processes.

3. SIOP Process Expertise:

- Leverage deep knowledge of the SIOP process to align the Kinaxis tool with business goals.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and translate their needs into system functionalities.

- Provide expertise in forecasting, demand planning, capacity planning, and inventory optimization as they relate to SIOP.

- Develop reporting and analytics solutions within Kinaxis to provide actionable insights for decision-making.

4. Manufacturing Environment Experience:

- Apply experience from implementing Kinaxis at manufacturing clients to address the unique challenges of MTO, ETO, and MTS environments.

- Ensure the solution supports the complexities of custom and engineered products, variable demand patterns, and supply chain constraints.

- Collaborate with production, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure the system supports operational efficiency and scalability.

5. Consulting Mindset:

- Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, offering strategic insights and recommendations on best practices for implementing and using Kinaxis in SIOP processes.

- Facilitate workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and stakeholder alignment meetings to ensure the solution meets business objectives.

- Continuously evaluate system performance and recommend enhancements or new functionalities to optimize business outcomes.

- Mentor junior team members and internal stakeholders on best practices for Kinaxis and SIOP process improvements.

6. Project Management:

- Lead the project management efforts for the Kinaxis implementation, including scope definition, timeline management, and resource allocation.

- Ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and meets business expectations.

- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring a smooth implementation and transition to the operational phase.

Requirements

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technology leadership, with significant experience in implementing Kinaxis.

- Proven experience implementing Kinaxis for manufacturing clients, with deep knowledge of MTO, ETO, and MTS product types.

- Strong understanding of the SIOP process, including demand planning, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.

- Consulting mindset with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.

- Demonstrated ability to configure, customize, and optimize the Kinaxis Rapid Response platform. - Strong technical background with experience in system integration, data management, and analytics.
