This is a remote role, offering flexibility and autonomy in managing key accounts and building strong customer relationships.
Position Summary
As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving outside sales activities, representing the company's interests, and fostering long-term business relationships. You will focus on identifying prospects, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions to enhance sales performance. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-driven individual with strong engineering and sales expertise, capable of managing a portfolio of key accounts across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify bid opportunities, prepare responses, and lead negotiations with potential clients.
- Be able to prove Technical Turnkey solutions.
- Develop new leads and collaborate with the sales and business development teams to grow the customer base.
- Manage and nurture relationships with prospective key accounts, influencing new business opportunities.
- Attend industry trade shows and events to enhance the company’s visibility and attract potential clients.
- Work autonomously from home, managing your schedule and client engagements.
- Prepare and generate quotations, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing for customers.
- Manage a portfolio of 10 to 20 key accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and performance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to work independently, hit the ground running, and manage multiple key accounts.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in outside sales, preferably within the HVAC or related industries.
- Practical knowledge of Carrier's systems and the ability to leverage these in daily operations.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Be able to prove Technical Turnkey solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Design Engineer with a solid understanding of technical solutions.
