About this role

Riello in the USA is seeking an experienced Technician – Heating Equipment to join the team. The Technician – Heating Equipment at Riello plays a vital role in ensuring the reliability and performance of critical power and heating equipment such as burners and boilers. The Technician – Heating Equipment serves as a key point of contact for customers and other field team members and ensuring clear and effective communication. Analyze and interpret test data to troubleshoot and resolve moderate design or system-related issues, while developing specialized product knowledge to perform diagnostic procedures. This position involves frequent customer interaction, including on-site visits, and requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and service excellence.

Remote role for someone living in the USA. With 50% travel across the USA to service customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • On-site commissioning, maintenance, servicing and upgrades of Riello’s products—such as burners, boilers, and other associated equipment—often across diverse environments like data centers, hospitals, industrial facilities, and commercial sites

  • Performing technical analysis and diagnostic procedures to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues or design deviations in alignment with customer specifications and safety standards.

  • Documenting service activities and communicating insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders; ensuring customers are informed about work performed, prevailing issues, and recommended upgrades or repairs.

  • Maintaining strong customer relationships through clear, professional communication and regular site visits, and coordinating with Riello’s internal teams to deliver efficient and high-quality support.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 4+ years of experience in performing technical services on burners and/or boilers.

  • 1+ years of experience in reading and/or interpret electrical drawings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of Building automation systems and how they integrate into burner controls

  • Basic understanding of combustion.

  • Problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to diagnosing and resolving technical issues.

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.

  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build trust and maintain positive relationships.

  • Adaptability and flexibility to manage changing priorities and work in dynamic environments.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

The annual salary salary for this position is between $51,875 – $72,625 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. 

This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
