About the role

As an HR Coordinator, you are a generalist with an impact on the success of Marioff and Industrial Fire by supporting all human resources activities for the assigned business and functions.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Process employees’ queries and respond in a timely manner
  • Keep employment contracts and attachments up to date, update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status
  • Manage HC forecast and hiring needs, monitor headcount budgets by department, create ad-hoc HC reports and provide HR analytics
  • Support managers with recruiting and talent acquisition, contribute in Early Career processes as an HR representative
  • Recommend process and policy enhancements to improve our service to customers, develop and implement HR policies throughout the organization
  • Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions along with salary records
  • Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labour and employment legislation
  • Partner with external vendors as needed to ensure effective employee and business support
  • Manage incoming HR related invoices
  • Contribute in HR communication (intranet, email…), organize employee recognition activities

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or other relevant field
  • 3+ years of working experience in domestic/ international HR
  • Solid understanding of labour and employment legislation, collective agreements, and payroll processes
  • Excellent communication skills in a diplomatic communication style with a fluency in both English and Finnish, written and spoken
  • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerBI and/or MS Access
  • Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and timekeeping systems
  • Business judgement and acumen, customer service mindset
  • Result driven mindset with the ability to work cross functionally, structured way of working
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Tolerance for ambiguity
