About This Role

Carrier is actively recruiting for a dynamic HVAC Operations Coordinator to join the Marine Services & Operations team onsite in Syracuse, NY.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are looking for an opportunity to develop your supervisory and systems skills in a customer service environment, then we have a great opportunity for you.  We are seeking a motivated, process-oriented individual in Syracuse, NY to provide exceptional customer service leadership to Marine customers and team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of service engineers to support a global Marine Systems customer base.
  • Collaborate with service sales and operations teams to provide logistical solutions.
  • Utilize a network of suppliers and contractors for specialized project support.
  • Use Carrier HVAC partners and internal resources to identify and order required parts.
  • Support service and commissioning activities for shipboard AC systems.
  • Act as a primary liaison between shipyards, customers, and internal departments.
  • Identify, schedule, and coordinate resources for service tasks.
  • Manage the logistics of equipment and parts associated with service projects.
  • Assist the service sales team with shipboard service requirements.
  • Gather and file supporting documents to help the team meet financial targets.
  • Coordinate with the Service Coordinator, Project Sales Manager, and the Rotterdam team.
  • Prepare and submit project documentation to clients and agents.
  • Arrange site access and travel logistics for technicians.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Trade Certification with 2+ years of experience in operations support; OR Associate’s degree with 4+ years of experience in operations support; OR High School Diploma or GED with 6+ years of experience in operations support.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Supervisory experience and ability to lead teams in dynamic environments.
  • Supply chain management experience with specialized knowledge of Marine HVAC systems.
  • Proficiency in SAP, JDE, EPIC, and Windchill systems.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Negotiation and creative problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and oral).
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Adaptable and flexible to seasonal workloads and changing business demands.

Pay Range

The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.

Other Compensation

This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
