About this role

The Planner role will be a customer-centric employee that will focus their regular activities in planning. They will manage daily order scheduling, collaborate with production, finance/accounting, and engineering departments to meet company objectives. They will use internal data via our ERP system and other applicable sources within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Incumbent’s responsibilities will generally focus on one or more of the following:

  • Production Planning & Scheduling
  • Material disposition via the ECO/ECI process
  • Support the Master Scheduler

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years of experience in a production planning/scheduling role

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with Microsoft suite (primarily excel)
  • Familiar with MRP, bills of materials and routings
  • Planning and scheduling activities within the Operations organization
  • Generates material requirements based on manufacturing production schedules
  • Adjusts due dates and quantities as appropriate to meet production needs;
  • Participation in any corresponding meetings with an understanding of all ECO changes being implemented
  • Quickly and pro-actively identifies any potential materials supply issues, communicates and seeks resolution
  • Responsible for small projects or multiple tasks within functional discipline
  • Makes significant contribution to their team by applying their knowledge of the discipline
  • Works with moderate guidance on projects with short-term focus
  • Has a solid understanding of the fundamentals of the discipline and role—continuing to develop specialized knowledge
