About this role:

We are seeking a Customer Delivery Assurance Project Manager with thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes, scheduling, purchasing, and engineering principles and techniques to support the on-time delivery of HVAC products.

The Project Manager will create project plans with a cross-functional team to meet customer technical and delivery requirements and they will manage the project meetings, ensuring they are timely and focused. They will communicate with internal and external stakeholders, executive leadership, and the project team on risk assessments, milestone completion, and project status. They will also anticipate, identify, and react to problems and recommend solutions. 

The position will be based out of Charlotte, NC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates between factory groups to communicate project timeline and schedules
  • Provides insight based on customer comments to factory and engineering staff
  • Creates materials for sales teams and senior leadership related to project progession
  • Utilizes understanding of constraints and criteria for manufacturing and construction to provide recovery plans when required

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 + years of experience working in or directing project teams or several mid to large-sized projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP or other ERP experience
  • Working knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration design, heat transfer, fan systems, and control systems
  • Supply chain management and operations experience
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC components, products, systems, and controls is preferred
  • Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly, work independently under minimal direction, able to prioritize work to meet customer needs
  • Project level experience is preferred proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project.
