About the role

As Buyer & Operations Executive for Carrier, you will carry out processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement, including RFPs, negotiation preparations, and cost analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Buyer & Operations Executive, you'll be responsible for:

Role Responsibilities:

  • Carries out procurement processes, standards, and operational plans in accordance with the company’s purchasing policies and procedure, including RFPs, negotiation preparations, PO issue, payment terms and cost analysis.
  • Work closely with requestors and vendors on supply and demand materials planning and SIOP to optimize the utilization of business resources and meet customer expectations for delivery.
  • Prepares request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages to take on new accounts.
  • Liaise with requestors and vendors to identify opportunities to optimize cost savings.
  • Verify supplier invoices against the correct PO/GL code/GRN before sending to Accenture for payment.
  • Vendor creation and Purchase requisition/Order processing in SAP or ARIBA.
  • Review vendors’ contract terms and prepares service agreements to ensure terms are in the best interest of the organization.
  • Follow up with suppliers to expedite and ensure that the Supplier On time Delivery Performance are met. Escalate issues timely to address supply issues.
  • Prepare and analyze the Direct/Indirect Expense reporting to headquarters, drive cost saving.
  • Contacts suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate purchase and pricing record.
  • Liaise with forwarders/customers for delivery arrangement from port directly to customer's site for shipments under project assignments.
  • Prepare, participate, and provide input physical quantity in SAP / reconciliation for annual stock take for finished goods & parts.
  • Inventory management and forecast.
  • Monitors suppliers’ performance and applies sustainable countermeasures and actions to facilitate improvement.
  • Other ad-hoc projects or duties as delegated.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 of years working experience in procurement role or in a similar position.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skill.
  • Good analytical and organizations skill.
  • Familiarity with SAP & Ariba platform is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Experience in financial and account reporting.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards relevant to the industry.
