About the role

Established Mechanical Engineer. Conducts product development activities and studies, executes and analyses tests, and produces parts, designs, or sketches, following all appropriate Mechanical Engineering design, safety, and qualification standards.

Requirements

• University degree, preferably in technical industries.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Logistics and Warehousing.
• Good technical skills on logistics and warehousing.
• Creativity, innovation, teamwork and leadership, good communication skills.
• Experience with SAP.
• AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Native Czech and fluent English required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous improvement & simplification & effectiveness increase (including losses reduction)
• Material flow design from supplier to the line:
  • Define & Improve material flow, prepare plan for every part
  • Establish logistics and warehousing routines and release related documents
• Logistics:
  • Cost reduction of logistics (including inbound and outbound cost)
  • Continuous improvement of logistics
• Warehousing:
  • Define and implement warehousing plan
  • Investigate warehousing issues and prepare action plan
  • Lead warehouse operation team
  • Implement Lean principles
  • Responsibility for warehouse safety and 5S
  • Plan and sustain inventory metrics and monthly report
• Support of Manufacturing/Product Engineer & Supply chain
  • Contribute to the Engineering Change Management process
  • Ensure warehousing and logistics feasibility
