About the role:

Seeking a Workday Technical Product Specialist – HCM to analyze, design, transform and implement activities globally.  Additional responsibilities include supporting the delivered Workday HCM solutions. The work involves close partnership with the HR Technology team members globally as well as stakeholders in the HR business COEs, Digital/IT, External Vendor organizations. Key objectives include delivery of best-in-class HR technology solutions that support business needs and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning, designing, configuring, and testing solutions in Workday for HCM.

  • Be a subject matter expert to business stakeholders, addressing questions and troubleshooting issues related to HCM business processes.

  • Provide Workday production support including analysis and troubleshooting of issues related to design, configurations, business process, integrations and data.

  • Participate in Workday’s periodic product release planning and testing and proactively remain informed about Workday new feature-sets. Understand release impact against current system configurations.

  • Collaborate with HR Technology leadership and business end-users to translate business needs into requirements, gap analysis and impact assessment. Recommend appropriate solution and business process workflows.

  • Coordinate testing to ensure that the product functionality and all upstream/downstream integrations are working as designed. Ensure that the required specifications are met with efficient, accurate and quality information.

  • Create/maintain the product documentation including content updates for the user guides/job-aids.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in HR technology, with at least 3 years of experience in Workday HCM Modules.

  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently across different time zones in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and levels within the organization.

  • Comfortable with SDLC and Agile product delivery frameworks and tools such as JIRA.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Human Resources or related field.
