Lead Engineer

Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad

The Software Development Engineer Test plays a critical role in the Digital technology team of Carrier. This role predominantly works on developing and analyzing the code and create various unit test scripts.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assesses and understands the flow of code and its interaction with various processes.
• Documents processes and client demands for process improvement.
• Logs, manages, and tracks user issues and cases.
• Performs manual regression testing.
• Create automated unit test cases and ensure its execution.
• Troubleshoots bugs and other issues on all platforms.
• Tests automation builds, execution, and script troubleshooting

Required Experience

• Proven experience with working in a distributed team, using Agile practices to quickly develop and deploy complex services.     
• Solid experience with Github and Fullstack application development. 
• 6 years+ of working experience with Javascript/Typescript. 
• 2 years+ of working on deployments on Cloud.
• Hands on experience with tools such as JIRA / Bitbucket AWS serverless technologies  
• Experience with Unit test framework and development tools such as Mocha / Jest  
• Strong full stack experience is a must 
• Strong Unit test experience is a must   
• Proficient in testing and creating of Rest APIs.

Additional Skills

• Backend development experience with Node.JS, ReactJS
• Experience with Cloud IAC.
