Role Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update the Configuration Management Database for Energy Assets

• Provide first- and second-line support for enterprise applications.

  Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and escalate complex issues.

  Monitor application performance and availability using monitoring tools.

  Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams for bug fixes and deployments.

  Document incidents, resolutions, and create user support guide

Role Purpose:

• Application Support Engineer is responsible for managing the lifecycle of Energy assets ensuring accurate configuration records, and providing technical support for business-critical applications. 

   This role ensures compliance with organizational standards, optimizes asset utilization, and delivers timely resolution of application issues to maintain operational continuity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  2 years of experience in asset management or application support.

• Required Skills

  Strong knowledge of Configuration Management and Asset Management 

  Familiarity with Windows/Linux OS, database(PostgreSQL), and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).

  Understanding of networking basics (DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls).

  Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  Problem-solving mindset with excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
