About the role

As the Senior Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales of parts and accessories as the role involves implementing sales strategies and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Sales Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Sales Management - Develop and execute sales strategy to achieve sales target for parts and accessories, identify areas improvement and implement corrective actions, manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of high demand parts while minimizing excess stocks.
  • Customer Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong relationship with Key customers, suppliers and partners, address and resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Business Development - Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand customer base, collaborate with the marketing team to design schemes, promotional sales events, Stay updated on potential threats and opportunities.
  • Operational Excellence - Ensure compliance with company policy, implement systems to improve productivity, should have strong hand in working with different functions within the organization.
  • Product Management - Should prepare the sales budget for the parts department, work on to optimize profitability and work on strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability by introducing new products.
  • Establishes prospects and develops a professional relationship to understand the customer needs and suggest products and/or services that meet the customer needs.
  • Aids in and supports business development activities for prospects within defined customer segment to support the business strategy.
  • Prospects bid opportunities, participates in the preparation of bid responses and the negotiation with potential customers.
  • Develops new customer contact leads for the sales business development team.
  • Identifies prospective target accounts and presents to sales business development team.
  • Develops personal customer relationships with prospective accounts to influence opportunities.
  • Attends trade shows at times to increase the visibility of the organization and potentially influence prospects.

Requirements:
We are looking for people who are well experienced within sales. If this is you, get in touch.

  • A minimum of 4 years prior relevant experience in doing sales
  • Has bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Has hunter mindset and aggressive in sales
  • Meticulous of details
  • Willing to be based in Penang
