About the role
We are looking for a skilled MLOps Engineer with 3-6 years of experience and strong expertise in AWS cloud services to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying, automating, maintaining, and managing machine learning (ML) models on AWS infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, data engineers, and DevOps professionals to ensure efficient and scalable deployment of ML solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for machine learning models using AWS services such as AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeBuild, and AWS CodeDeploy.
Implement monitoring and alerting solutions for model performance and data quality using AWS CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, and custom metrics.
Collaborate with data scientists to operationalize and deploy ML pipelines using AWS SageMaker and other relevant AWS services.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration for ML workloads using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform with AWS provider.
Optimize AWS cloud resources for cost efficiency and performance.
Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with cross-functional teams for resolutions.
Implement security best practices for ML systems and data on AWS.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
3-6 years of experience in MLOps, DevOps, or related roles with a strong focus on AWS cloud services.
Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, RDS, and VPC.
Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes on AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).
Strong programming skills in Python; familiarity with Java or Scala is a plus.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines using AWS services.
Knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
Familiarity with data storage and processing solutions on AWS (e.g., Amazon Redshift, Amazon Athena, Amazon EMR).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialist.
Experience with serverless computing and event-driven architectures on AWS (e.g., AWS Lambda, AWS EventBridge).
Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like AWS Cloud Formation or Terraform with AWS provider.
Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) in the context of AWS environments.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
