About this role:

The intern will work with the Supply Chain and Engineering teams to identify and drive productivity projects. Projects will include cost-out opportunities, engineering redesigns, supplier consolidations, part number consolidations, spend optimizations, and others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with buyers and planners to maintain accuracy of supplier master database: understand active suppliers and create a list of required fields that must be filled.

• Connect with suppliers to collect required missing fields.

• Leverage systems such as JDE and LeanDNA to view and update supplier records where necessary.

• Develop metrics to monitor and track suppliers with missing required fields.

• Provide status update to team leaders on a weekly basis.

• Perform on-demand activities to support production.

Required Qualifications:

• Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Analytics, or Business

• Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• Rising Sophomore

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 product suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Ability to solve challenging and complex customer requests

• Self-starter and eager to learn
