About the Role:

This position is for an Engineering technician who is under moderate supervision. Performs moderately complex technical tasks which contribute to the planning and execution of engineering projects. Confers with engineers on details and implications of test procedures and results. Assists in orienting, training, and assigning work of technical/business support employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Engineering team
  • Support hardware/software engineers request for modifications
  • Support customer needs

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree with 1+ years of troubleshooting experience in an electronics, hardware, and/or controls discipline

-OR-

  • High School Diploma with 3+ years of troubleshooting experience in an electronics, hardware, and/or controls discipline

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understand basic electronics
  • Be able to read an electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Be able to use multimeters, oscilloscopes, and various similar equipment
  • Ability to soldering and De-solder for both through hole, and SMT parts
  • Basic mechanical skills
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite tools
  • Ability to follow and execute processes based on Standard Work Instructions
  • Good verbal and written communications skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
