Experience:

• Minimum 6–8 years of experience in information technology with hands-on responsibilities in SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) within manufacturing or enterprise environments.
• Minimum 4+ years of proven, hands-on experience in SAP FICO project delivery or production support, covering FI (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting) and CO (Cost Centers, Internal Orders, Profit Centers).
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance, including integration with MM, SD, and manufacturing processes, complemented by strong results orientation, effective interpersonal and teamwork skills, and the ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.
• Experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in consultancy.

As part of Carrier's digital transformation, this role is the Specialist for The SAP FICO Consultant is responsible for configuring, supporting, and optimizing SAP Finance and Controlling processes, ensuring accurate financial operations, compliance, and integration with business processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting (FI) Configuration & Support

Configure and support FI components including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting, ensuring accurate financial postings and period-end processes.

Controlling (CO) Configuration & Support

Support CO processes such as Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, and basic Product Costing, aligned with business controlling requirement.

Integration with Logistics & Business Processes

Ensure seamless integration of FICO with SD, MM, and manufacturing processes, supporting end-to-end financial impact of procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and production activities.

Business Requirement Analysis & Solution Design

Gather and analyze finance requirements, participate in fit-to-standard workshops, and translate business needs into SAP functional designs and configurations.

Testing, Deployment & Hypercare

Prepare test scenarios, execute unit and integration testing, support UAT, assist cutover activities, and provide post-go-live hypercare and issue resolution.

Compliance, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

Support statutory, audit, and internal control requirements, assist in financial reporting and reconciliations, and contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and system usage.
