About the Role

We are looking for a technically driven Test Engineering professional with strong experience in testing, validation, troubleshooting, and project leadership. In this role, you will support manufacturing and engineering operations by driving test strategies, analyzing failures, improving test processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Test Engineering professional, you'll be responsible for:
• Leading testing and validation activities for electronic products and systems.
• Supporting functional, Hi-Pot, circuit, and in-circuit testing processes.
• Performing troubleshooting, failure analysis, and root cause investigations.
• Developing, analyzing, and maintaining test code and validation methodologies.
• Collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to improve test effectiveness and product reliability.
• Operating and supporting ICT, VXI, and PXI test systems.
• Interpreting electrical schematics and test data to identify and resolve product issues.
• Coordinating technical projects and supporting team execution, prioritization, and process improvement.
• Supporting hardware modifications and test fixture improvements when required.
• Providing technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams.

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:
• University degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering, testing, validation, or manufacturing test environments.
• Experience with Functional Testing, Hi-Pot Testing, and Circuit Testing.
• Experience operating In-Circuit Test (ICT) systems, preferably Teradyne and GenRad platforms.
• Knowledge of ICT equipment, testing methodologies, and validation processes.
• Experience with test code programming, debugging, and hardware analysis.
• Ability to identify code-related failures during visual and functional testing.
• Experience using Visual Studio for debugging and test analysis.
• Basic knowledge of C# and ability to interpret source code to identify test failures, impacted files, and root causes.
• Experience operating VXI and PXI functional test systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, failure analysis, and test result interpretation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Knowledge of work planning, prioritization, coaching, and execution of technical processes.
• Experience coordinating technical teams and projects.
• Ability to use hand tools for small hardware modifications.
• Availability to travel within Mexico.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

• Previous experience in structured engineering testing and validation environments.
• Familiarity with quality, safety, and compliance standards.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
