About the role
We areseekinga motivated, results-oriented Sr. Software Developerto join a global software development team. The candidatewillserve as a software development responsible for web-based applications thatdrivetheCarrier equipment and systems sales strategy.This includes ownership of Carrier Electronic Catalogprograms that are employed byHVACsales engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Workas partof asoftware development team to deliver tools toCarrier’scommercial HVAC sales force.
Produce clean, efficient code thatmeetssoftwarerequirements.
Monitor the performance of 1 to 2softwaredevelopersand quality assurance specialistscontributingthe developmenteffort.This includescode reviewsand coaching.
Maintain, troubleshoot,anddebugexisting software.
Collaborate withamulti-location team to ensure thesoftwareperformsaccording to requirements.
Contribute to thesetupofgeneral guidelines and standards for development of software.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree inComputerScience, Software Engineering, or related field of study.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficientwith front-end technologies including JavaScript, ReactJS, or AngularJS
Proficientwith server-side technologies including C# or Java
Understanding ofcloud-based design and architecture. Knowledge of AWS preferred.
Experience with Agile developmentmethodology(e.g.Scrum)
Familiarity with GitHub and Jenkins preferred.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Excellent analytical skills.
Exemplary verbal and written communication skills(English)
