About the role

The Factory Support Controls Engineer will lead production troubleshooting activities at our Monterrey factory to ensure minimal downtime for our production lines. The right candidate will be a quick learner, and capable of working with people from multiple different backgrounds and disciplines. 

Key Responsibilities

As a Factory Support Controls Engineer, you'll be responsible for: 

• Troubleshooting mechanical HVAC circuits & associated components on commercial chillers and related equipment. 

• Troubleshooting electrical problems in a production line setting, including but not limited to; sensors, wiring, and communication protocols. 

• Lead the effort to ensure that the permanent corrections identified during the troubleshooting are implemented across the various teams 

• Working as the factory system expert by communicating system controls to local personnel, helping write & enforce procedures, and identifying software bugs. 

• Working as a liaison between local engineers, run test operators, and design engineers across the globe. 

• Training others to identify common troubleshooting methods to keep the production line moving 

Requirements

As a minimum you must have: 

• Requires advanced knowledge obtained through a University degree, combined with experience 

• A minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience 

• An advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience 

• Advanced English 

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

• Experience working with HVAC
