About This Role

• This role will report to the Controller HVAC Mexico who is looking to transform overall Carrier organization by implementing and adapting global leading tool for financial visibility for overall Carrier organization. The critical tasks that include, but are not limited to, timely and accurate month/quarter close, accounting policy compliance, and oversight of SOX control environment. 

  The role will also be involved in Carrier Excellence/ Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and administer SOE Hyperion tool – administering cost center, profit center, supplemental structure
• Load actuals from ECC6 into SOE to provide visibility to accounting and finance on managing budget by cost centers
• Load forecast from ECC6 into SOE and ensure accuracy of load
• Schedule monthly HFM SOE metadata update, perform test in development environment
• Support standardization of general accounting and complex accounting activities

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics
• 6+ years’ experience in Financial Accounting
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of accounting principles and internal control procedures
• Strong PC skills including Microsoft Excel, ERP Applications, SAP ECC6 and HFM

• Experience with tools that automate processes and support accounting and reporting functions
