About the role
The Supply Planning Manager will play a critical role in ensuring manufacturing continuity by developing and executing mid to long-term supply plans aligned with customer demand and business objectives. This role will support factory operations through effective production planning, inventory optimization, and capacity management while collaborating cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Demand Planning, and Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities 

·       Leads in the development of strategies for supply planning within the Commercial SIOP team.

·       Performs scenario planning and rough-cut capacity analysis to support supply and demand shifts, new product introductions, and product lifecycle transitions.

·       Lead proactive identification and resolution of long-range supply chain risks including labor, material, and equipment constraints.

·       Spearheads the development of standardized processes within materials planning and SIOP to optimize the utilization of business resources and meet customer expectations for delivery.

·       Analyzes identified supply streams and leads in the establishment of data relationship linkages.

·       Leads in the planning of capacity and fulfillment demand with plant manufacturing operations.

·       Facilitates with manufacturing team leaders and leads in the development of monthly production volume planning using the business forecast, inventory position, actual customer orders, and the defined capacity parameters.

·       Supports planning and reporting of finished goods, components, and E&O inventory in alignment with DOH targets and working capital objectives. Identifies gaps and risks to DOH/Inventory plans and drives actions to mitigate

·       Analyzes and leads in the development of new technologies to improve materials, inventory planning and SIOP capability, sustainability, and reliability.

·       Spearheads tracking appropriate metrics to drive results and continuous improvement.

As a minimum you must have:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field

·       5+ years of experience in Supply Planning, SIOP/S&OP, Master Planning, Materials Management, or related Supply Chain functions

·       Experience working within manufacturing environments and managing factory production plans

·       Strong understanding of inventory management, capacity planning, and supply continuity processes

·       Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP or advanced planning systems

·       Knowledge of S&OE / S&OP / IBP / SIOP planning

·       Experience working in MTO/ETO manufacturing environments

·       Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field
