About the role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director – Program Manager to drive automation strategies across our global manufacturing operations. In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of automation and controls solutions, connecting people, processes, and technology to improve efficiency, productivity, and scalability. You will play a key role in shaping Industry 4.0 initiatives, defining global standards, and delivering impactful solutions that enhance our manufacturing capabilities and support our customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As a Associate Director – Program Manager (Automation Program Implementation), you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading automation initiatives across global manufacturing sites, ensuring alignment with business and operational goals

  • Driving the design, development, and implementation of automated manufacturing systems, including controls and equipment integration

  • Leading cross-functional teams (IT, OT, Manufacturing, Engineering) to deliver scalable and standardized automation solutions

  • Managing automation programs end-to-end, including planning, risk management, supplier coordination, and execution

  • Defining and deploying global automation standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

We are looking for people who are strategic, results-driven, collaborative, and technically strong in automation and manufacturing systems. If this is you, get in touch.

As a minimum you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in automation, controls, and manufacturing environments

  • Strong experience with PLCs and controls systems (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) and automation equipment

  • Proven experience leading programs and cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

  • Experience with robotics and collaborative automation systems

  • PMP certification and/or Lean Six Sigma certification

  • Experience working in global or multicultural environments
