Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Record-to-Report (RTR) team to ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities

  • Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and ensure all items are properly reviewed, supported, and resolved

  • Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives within RTR processes

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., P2P, O2C, Business Controllers) to resolve issues and improve processes

  • Monitor and clear aged reconciliation items in a timely manner

  • Review journal entries, accruals, and provisions to ensure accuracy and completeness

  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations

  • Develop, coach, and mentor team members, including cross-training and performance management

  • Ensure smooth execution of system changes or transitions (e.g., S/4HANA migration)

Role Purpose:

  • To lead the RTR function by ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong control environment, and efficient processes

  • To drive continuous improvement and enhance the quality and timeliness of financial close activities

  • To act as a key point of contact for stakeholders and ensure alignment across finance functions

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA/CMA preferred)

  • 6–10 years of experience in RTR/General Ledger accounting, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP) and financial reporting

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, S/4HANA)

  • Proven experience in team management and stakeholder coordination

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

  • Experience in process improvement and automation initiatives is a plus
