Design Engineer (Electrical & Electronic Components)

About the Role

Carrier is seeking a Design Engineer(Electrical & Electronic Components) to support the qualification, evaluation, and validation of electrical and electronic components used in air conditioning products. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, performance, reliability, and compliance with engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and qualify electrical and electronic components for new and existing products

• Conduct testing and validation activities to ensure compliance with technical and quality requirements

• Support new product development and engineering change activities

• Investigate component-related issues and provide technical recommendations

• Collaborate with suppliers, engineering teams, and manufacturing teams to support product qualification and implementation

• Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and engineering records

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field

• Experience in electrical/electronic component testing, validation, product development, or quality engineering is preferred

• Knowledge of electrical and electronic components, circuits, and engineering test methods

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and collaboration skills

• Good command of English
