Technical Sales Advisor H/F

Location : Paris, Montluel

Permanent : Permanent

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Advisor - Data Centers to join our commercial team in France, reporting to the Sales Director France.

In this role, you will support the development of Carrier's Data Center business by engaging with hyperscalers, colocation operators, consultants and contractors. Combining technical expertise with commercial acumen, you will identify opportunities, influence project specifications, develop customer relationships and drive sustainable sales growth across the French market.

Key responsibilities

- Assess customer technical requirements and develop compliant HVAC and cooling solutions, including capacity, temperature, airflow, and system design considerations.

- Prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, and quotations, ensuring alignment with pricing policies, approved discount structures, and customer specifications.

- Present solutions and commercial offers to customers, providing technical consultation and support throughout the sales cycle.

- Process and manage customer orders, including offer review, SAP data entry, documentation control, and project handover to Operations.

Support business development activities by responding to sales inquiries, generating leads, promoting product upgrades, and identifying cross-selling opportunities.

- Maintain customer relationships and CRM records, working closely with Account Managers to monitor opportunities, follow up on quotations, and support contract renewals.

- Coordinate internal stakeholders including Credit Control, Operations, Product Management, and Engineering teams to ensure smooth execution of customer projects.

- Provide technical and commercial support for products, services, and third-party components, while contributing to problem-solving, process improvements, and knowledge sharing within the team.

Profile

- Strong technical knowledge of refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, and electrical systems.

- Good understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and air distribution circuits, with the ability to interpret technical specifications and system requirements.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) for reporting, analysis, and customer proposal preparation.

- Experience using SAP and other business systems for quotation management, order processing, and customer data administration.

- Proven B2B sales experience, with the ability to engage customers, identify needs, and support the sales process from quotation to order.

 - Knowledge of internal quotation and pricing tools, enabling the preparation of accurate technical and commercial proposals.

Fourchette de rémunération

La rémunération annuelle pour ce poste est comprise entre €43,000.00-€86,000.00 par an.Les facteurs pouvant influencer la rémunération incluent notamment les compétences, la formation, l’expérience et d’autres qualifications spécifiques du candidat retenu. Les facteurs pouvant influencer la rémunération au sein de cette fourchette comprennent, sans s’y limiter, les compétences, le niveau d’études, l’expérience, l’éventuelle couverture par une convention collective, la rémunération habituellement pratiquée sur le marché pour ce poste, ainsi que toute autre qualification particulière du candidat retenu.[
