About this role 

As an HVAC Chiller Technician -with Carrier, you will play a vital role in supporting mission-critical cooling infrastructure. This position requires focus on startup, commissioning, warranty, and service work for complex chiller systems.You’llbe the trusted face of Carrier, applying your technicalexpertiseto installations, repairs, and maintenance while ensuring customers experience confidence and reliability. Whatyou’lldo 

• Perform startup, commissioning, warranty, and service workon  chillers. Applyingexpertiseto supporta state-of-the-artfacility. 

• Perform diagnostic tests, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions, and execute regularly scheduled maintenance on heating and cooling units.  

• Review and interpret regulatory requirements and technical documents, including blueprints and diagrams. 

• Cultivate strong customer relationships and ensuretimelyescalation of issues for resolution when necessary.  

• Prioritize safety by adhering to licensing requirements, operating equipment safely, recognizing HVAC-related hazards, completing safety training, and implementing effective safety measures.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED. 

• EPA Refrigerant Certification.

• 5+ years Commercial HVAC industry experience.

• 3+years' experiencewith Chillers (air cooled/centrifugal) 

• Ability topush/pull/liftupto 50lbs, climb a ladder and work on rooftops 

• Ability to stand, crawl, sit, squatofextended period of times

• Possessandmaintainvalid and current Driver’s License andbeinsurable by the company’s insurance carrier 

Valued, but notrequired

• OSHA10 or 30Certification

• Basic understanding of building automation controls 

• Excellent communicationskillsboth written and verbal

• Knowledge ofServiceMax
