About this role:
This 2025 Spring Homestead High School Career Internship program provides a unique opportunity for a High School student to gain hands-on experience in the field of sales, marketing, engineering and business development. This role will provide practical learning experience that will complement academic studies, preparing students for a successful career.
Key Responsibilities:
Work directly with our industry-leading Sales Professionals and manufacturing team on key customer projects.
Gain an understanding of the technical design aspects of our products through lab and engineering projects.
Be exposed to the many facets of UTEC's businesses: Service, Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, and much more. You will assist the UTEC team with tasks deeply rooted in each of these facets.
Learn our business from numerous internal perspectives as you assist other vital departments to achieve customer goals.
Develop communication, project management skills, and sales/engineering experience.
Study and apply expertise using SAP, Windchill, and Microsoft Office applications.
Gain an understanding of the HVAC market.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be a current Senior in High School
Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
Good organization skills
Good customer service
Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite
