About the role:

We are seeking a highly motivated, Talented individual to front face with customers to understand their requirements and provide solution design to meet customer requirements with BMS/Building Automation/Smart Buildings/Smart Cities/Industrial IOT experience. The Role would support Business Growth in Middle East and Asia with an Opportunity to travel Onsite based on the need.

We are looking for a Pre-sales solutions architect to support the largest and most strategic customers at Carrier. This individual will play a key role in working with customers to understand their requirements and support revenue-generating activities. The solution architect will help design and ensure adherence to the design of multiple global digital products being developed within Carrier Digital. This role will work on a range of software products, IOT solutions and associated managed services critical to Carrier’s continued business growth. This profession will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business and technology issues from strategy to execution.

The Pre-sales Solutions Architect will help identify, qualify and close businesses in the region. Solution Architect are product and application experts for Carrier’s Abound suite of solutions. Solution Architects apply this product and domain expertise to support all technical Presales activities, including but not limited to evaluating Customer needs and applying solutions to resolve or improve outcomes, diagnosing customer concerns, delivering presentations and demonstrations, responding to customer technical issues and questions, contributing to RFI/RFP responses, and in general working with the sales organization to identify and close targeted opportunities. Solution Architects are also involved in limited post-sales activities by delivering product training or participating in Professional Services work. In addition, Solution Architects are a key source of market research by identifying and documenting future product, solution and services requirements. The Role would support Business Growth in Middle East and Asia with an Opportunity to travel Onsite based on the need.

  • Strong analytical, strategic, and creative problem-solving skills.

  • Good technical understanding of IOT based Digital Solutions and Services for Retail, Industrial and Commercial Real Estate sectors.

  • Data analytics orientation and a consultative mindset

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Good understanding of developing commercial models / costing models based on digital solutions and managed services.

  • Good experience working on the Latest Digital technologies.

  • Working knowledge of building operating technologies such as lighting, energy, HVAC Building Management Systems.

  • & ability to influence across organization levels.

  • Team player with a positive, collaborative work ethic. Enjoys collaborating with design, product, etc.

Education & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering Master of Business Administration preferred.

  • Total 8 to 14 years of experience the person should have 5 to 7 years of relevant experience working in pre-sales in IOT, SaaS, Energy Management and/or IBMS industry.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial Building Management Systems
