About The Role:

A graphics engineer is responsible for creating projects with floorplans, equipment schematics, maps, logos, elevations as well as some custom graphics. These are then programmed and tested in our building automation systems.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drafting in Adobe Illustrator
  • Communicates regularly with external and internal teams/customers
  • Time tracking of tasks and manage personal workload
  • Programming graphics and testing in our WebCTRL software
  • Ability to design and come up with solutions to customer challenges
  • Testing and troubleshooting the programming on graphics
  • Creative thinking
  • Driving customer satisfaction
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Must have one of the following:

  • Associate degree

OR

  • High School diploma (or equivalent) with 2+ years of drafting/design experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Graphic Design, Studio Art, drafting degree and 5 years’ experience in the design/drafting field
  • HVAC knowledge/background a plus
  • Automated Logic’s WebCTRL knowledge a plus
  • Experience with Autodesk 3ds Max a plus
  • General Microsoft Office knowledge a plus
  • Adobe Illustrator (Fireworks CS6 is a plus)
  • Excellent written, verbal and digital communication skills
  • Very organized and methodical
  • Familiar with architectural drawings
  • Able to multitask well
  • Time management skills (working with deadlines)
  • Graphic layout and design skills
  • Works well under stress
  • Able to work without extensive supervision
