We are looking for an Area Specification Manager to Kidde Safety Europe, which is a part of Carrier Fire & Security Products a business unit of Carrier. Kidde provides fire, smoke, and carbon monoxide protection worldwide. The brand has become the world leader in the fire prevention and security market. About the role
As Area Specification Manager , you will be responsible for developing multi-discipline capabilities with specifiers within the Social Housing Sector and New Build Developers, Electrical Contractors and Installers with the Domestic Electrical Market and supply chain management.

Requirements:
To be successful in the role you should:
- Have previous sales experience in similar area
- Possess experience in the Electrical Distribution market or similar, preferred.
- Have willingness to travel a lot
- Be dynamic, results-driven self-starter.
- Have ability to work independently,
- Possess strong interpersonal skills, be a resourceful and committed team player.
- Have ability to build own credibility and develop effective relationships at all levels.
- Have excellent presentation and communication skills
- Have UK driving license
As an Area Specification Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Sales via the Electrical Wholesale Channel within the agreed area
- Creating and Managing an annual business plan by account
- Pro-actively identifying new and different business opportunities to provide increased sales.
- Staying up to date with all industry trends, issues and news. Ensuring all business opportunities for Kidde Safety are managed professionally and cross selling opportunities are maximized.
- Ensuring that all Kidde Safety products obtain maximize focus and opportunities.
- Maximizing all networking opportunities and other relevant meetings. To visit all customers as demand on regular call cycle.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key account customers.
- Developing strong relationships with the Social Housing Sector, Installers who work in the sector and Electrical Contractors
- Delivering Installer / Contractor training on the latest British Standards and installation recommendations
- Providing strong representation for the company at all times
