As a Creative Project Manager, you will work directly with the Cross-Functional team and Creative Studio to launch, plan, guide, and execute projects while strengthening Creative studio planning along the way. Our expectation is that you will prioritize responsibilities, execute efficiently, and consistently communicate the needs and expectations to both the team and clients without missing a beat.

In addition, you will be responsible for learning new concepts, researching new industries, and maintaining relevant expertise in your skillset. This is a Creative Project Manager non-IT related.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee strategic plan of projects, monitor and adapts as needed
  • Create detailed project plans, execution task lists, and Gantt Charts for the Content team and cross-functional team
  • Manage communication tools (Workfront, etc. ) for cross-functional teams and Content ensuring that dates, tasks, and communications are executed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Lead calls with the cross-functional team to set expectations and make updates to the project plan
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Accurately plan due dates, ensuring internal resources are due ahead of the cross-functional team expected dates
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within the scope, and within budget
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Monitor production and quality to customer standards and measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Manage the relationship with the Content team and all stakeholders to ensure timely correspondence and updates to minimize any miscommunications or misaligned expectations
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Identify areas and opportunities to enhance Kidde Project Management plans and reports
  • Identify areas and opportunities to increase project scope (Cross-sell/Upsell)
  • Report on project progress, offer viable solutions and opportunities as they arise

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Creative Projects Focused
  • ‍BA/BS/MS degree in marketing, communications, or other related fields
  • 3-5 years of experience in relevant roles (customer service, marketing, sales)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with and managing external vendor/partner relationships
  • Self-starting and highly proactive
  • Comfortable learning new software with a quick grasp of technical concepts
  • Problem solver
  • Ability to clearly define and delegate tactics to a team and set accurate expectations with internal and external stakeholders
