Role Responsibilities:

Provide direct quality and inventory control support to the Kidde and Edwards’ signaling suppression and detection field returns operations. The individual will support the receiving of customer RMAs to include field destroy, buyback and investigating discrepant materials for customer related returns.  The ability to effectively collaborate, influence, and coordinate amongst team members within customer service, sourcing, materials management, finance, inventory control, receiving inspection, and quality management is critical to this role.

Role Purpose:

• Receive, inspect, and disposition Kidde products for customer returns.
• Input RMAs into JDE ERP operating system.
• 10-key Data Entry.
• Lead and accurately manage perpetual and physical inventory of customer returns.
• Manage disposition of product to scrap, repack, or stock, while maintaining accurate inventory control.
• Ensure repacking operations conform to correct revision of the SKU BOM.
• Provide Lead Quality direction and support for temporary employees.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels by use of quarterly cycle counts to manage field return branch plant financial accounts.
• Entry and submittal of Quality branch plant related IA’s.
• Ship/receive product between department branch plants via ST/OT to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Manage QC Hold inventory.
• Able to use/operate mechanical equipment to move pallets of materials.
• Job related projects as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in a quality/inventory management role.
• Working knowledge of desktop computer, MS office tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
