In this role, you'll be a linchpin in our two-step distribution environment, where you'll wield exceptional communication skills to build and nurture relationships with external customers. Your blend of analytical and creative expertise will help you navigate regional market nuances, collaborate closely with internal sales and product teams, and sculpt pricing strategies that are both impactful and sustainable.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of pricing analysts focused on pricing account management
- Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships
- Advise external customers and internal sales teams on pricing strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and growth
- Track market-based KPIs; report findings and trends to the leadership team
- Proactively identify market opportunities regarding product, portfolio, and segment mix
- Monitor trends across multiple regions to identify potential macro pricing issues
- Conduct market and financial analysis to review sales performance for key accounts
- Evaluate, approve, and track the effectiveness of pricing actions
- Ensure accurate, consistent, and timely responses are provided for a variety of pricing requests with varying levels of analytical requirements and turnaround times
- Develop cost-benefit analyses, financial impact analyses, and competitive analyses of price structures to lead successful price negotiations
- Monitor processes and generate solutions to drive team efficiency and process improvements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years’ experience working in a complex business environment with a focus in pricing, market analysis, or financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
- 2+ years of people management experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA/BS degree in marketing, finance, accounting, business administration, or related field
- MBA, MS, or MA degree
- 8+ years of relevant experience in related fields such as pricing, marketing, finance, or similar roles
- 2+ years of people management experience
- Proven capacity to communicate professionally in written and verbal format across a wide audience
- Strong ability to lead and develop diverse, cross functional project teams to achieve high levels of performance in a dynamic, changing environment
- Strong analytical skills
- Intermediate to advanced level skills with analytical tools including Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with PowerBI and SAP
- Demonstrated ability to translate data into easily understood formats
- Ability to make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal
- Passion for serving customers; ability to listen to customer needs and quickly act to solve their problems, provide quality solutions, and go above and beyond to exceed their expectations
- Proven ability to execute with speed and exhibit a bias for action mindset
- Ability to utilize available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines
- Ability to design and conduct a systematic, objective, and critical investigation
- Ability to think outside the box, innovate, take risks and implement progressive, sustainable solutions
