About the role

As part of Carrier’s product sustainability analytics team, you would be for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI and Power Automate. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, create data models, and deliver insightful reports and dashboards that drive business decisions while automating workflows and processes to improve operational efficiency.

Role Purpose:

Established Data Science & Analytics professional. Creating data mining architectures/models/protocols, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies to identify trends in large data sets

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain BI Solutions: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business requirements. 

• Power Automate Implementation: Leverage Power Automate to automate workflows, integrate systems, and streamline business processes. 

• Data Modeling: Create and maintain data models to support reporting and analytics needs. 

• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. 

• Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. 

• Performance Optimization: Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and scalability. 

• User Training: Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools, Power Automate workflows, and related functionalities. 

• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of BI solutions, including data models, reports, dashboards, and automated workflows. 

• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest developments in Power BI, Power Automate, and related technologies.

 Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and Power Automate. 

• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts. 

• Experience with SQL and database management. 

• Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes. 

• Experience in automating processes and workflows using Power Automate. 

Soft Skills:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Requirements

• Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView). 

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS). 

• Certification in Power BI, Power Automate, or related technologies.

EDUCATION PREFERRED:

Requires theoretical knowledge obtained through a University degree
Limited to some knowledge of Carrier organization
