About this role
We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented college student to join our team for the summer of 2025. The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience, and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths in efforts to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy.
As an Operations Associate intern, you will gain experience to include, but is not limited to activities and task listed below:
- Support Daily Operations:
- Assist in managing day to day business operations to ensure efficient workflow and processes.
- Process Improvement:
- Help identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements in operational processes, aiming to streamline procedures and increase productivity.
- Cross Departmental Coordination:
- Collaborate with various teams (finance, Client Services, Supply Chain, etc.) to capture information for Operation dashboard KPI. Support with key initiatives that will drive positive improvements in specific KPI category.
- Communicate performance trends and improvement opportunities to management both within and outside your immediate line of reporting.
- Project Assistance:
- Participate in various ongoing projects and initiatives, contributing ideas and supporting implementation.
- Administrative Support:
- Handle administrative tasks such as preparing documentation, establish/updating project plans, organizing files, maintain and updating records and reviewing data in databases.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Supply Chain, Business Management or operations field of study.
- GPA must be greater than or equal to a 3.0 GPA
- Applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Self-driven and proactive
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects
