Scope of Position:

Experienced professional in Outside Sales, focusing on the Long Island area. Participates in various Outside Sales activities and customer relationship management. Responsible for representing the company's interests, and building business relationships to enhance outside sales performance.

This role may sit in New Jersey, New York City or the 5 Burroughs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow assigned territory or group of accounts through the sales of Automated Logic's product, systems and services offerings

  • Develop long term relationships and build partnerships with the customer

  • Develop new customers

  • Leverage sister companies to grow our business

  • Leverage State and Utility incentives to enable the customer to access funding for projects and services

  • Achieve annual sales and gross margin targets

  • Conduct customer needs assessments and sales proposal estimates and specifications to promote products and services

  • Develop account management skills and provide customers with superior value and service. Create account plans for major customers and develop an internal team to drive objectives

  • Utilize sales tools effectively (CRM, estimating software, etc.) to plan and document progress as well as increase business opportunity within accounts

  • Collaborate with internal staff to deliver quality results

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 3+ years of Sales Experience in the HVAC, BMS, or Facility Energy business working with top financial decision-makers

  • Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Excellent Qualifying skills

  • Demonstrated ability in creating, closing projects and service agreements based on customer goals.

  • Self-motivated and organized to achieve annual goals and objectives

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated ability to influence customer's key decision-makers

  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory

  • Excellent writing, communication & presentation skills.

  • Microsoft Office Suite

Pay Range:

$74,181 - $130,206 Annually
