Senior Manager – Strategic Sourcing (CST) M/F

Specific responsibilities for this position include:

• Develop a strategic plan for a specific commodity group or strategic suppliers

• Responsible for overall relationship for multiple strategic suppliers for that specific commodity group

• Coordinate appropriately with supplier quality team for specific commodity issues including relentless root cause analysis and error-proofing to mitigate impact to the business

• Lead in negotiating prices, assessing supplier capabilities, selecting new suppliers, narrowing supplier base, and working with suppliers to establish mutually beneficial relationships and improve their ability to provide quality, cost effective materials while minimizing inventory

• Ensures supplier or commodity team is performing to the designed Carrier requirements from delivery, quality and cost perspective

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or company policies, procedures, work rules, standards and guidelines, etc.

Your profile / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain or related field

• 8–10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing / category management, ideally in international and matrix organizations

• Proven ability to build and execute category strategies, including in new or evolving environments

• Experience managing large spend across multiple sites or regions

• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills in cross-functional settings

• Ability to work with a high level of autonomy in a fast-paced, global environment

• Solid negotiation and supplier management experience

• Technical understanding of industrial categories is a plus

• Excellent communication skills in a multicultural environment

• English is the official working language (French not mandatory)
