Objective of the work:

• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a consistent supply.
• Analyze inventory levels and ensure sufficient materials are available.
• Identify opportunities for savings and optimization in procurement processes.
• Anticipate and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.

Profile:

• Degree in Administration, International Business, Foreign Trade, Industrial, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing
• Experience working with suppliers, vendors, and negotiating with suppliers
• Analytical skills to assess suppliers, costs, and inventory levels.
• Knowledge of procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems).

Responsibilities:

• Entry, review, control, and monitoring of purchase orders to local and national suppliers.
• Planning of high-turnover items, inventory control, and fulfillment.
• Tracking of open orders with Carrier plants to ensure delivery on time,
• Negotiate prices, and delivery terms.
• Resolve discrepancies in orders, shipments, or invoices.
• Work with logistics, planning, and finance teams to coordinate purchases and payments.
• Ensure that purchases comply with internal policies and external regulations.

Required skills:

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ability to resolve discrepancies, manage supply chain disruptions, and optimize procurement processes
• High attention to detail when reviewing contracts, invoices, and inventory data.
