Excellent opportunity for highly motivated individual to assume the role of Associate Director of Treasury Operations and Cash Management within the Finance organization. This role is highly dynamic and will support managing daily treasury operations within the Finance function and aide in a successful transition of the Industrial Fire business from Carrier to Sentinel Capital Partners in Q3 2024. In this role, the individual will be accountable for helping build-up a new, standalone Treasury function which will be a portfolio company of the Sentinel organization. The individual will also be responsible for oversight of daily treasury operational processes, cash and liquidity management, financial risk management, and implementing a successful transition plan.  This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer of Industrial Fire, and will be based in Stamford, CT. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversight of daily treasury cash management and operational processes including intercompany loans, credit facility management, foreign exchange risk management (balance sheet FX monitoring and hedging), letters of credit, capital injections, dividends, etc.  
  • Drive continuous improvement in treasury operations including ongoing reviews of business processes and procedures to identify and improve operational performance and efficiency. 
  • Support Treasury transition and integration of the Industrial Fire businesses as a stand-alone portfolio company of Sentinel, with a stand-alone Treasury operating model. 
  • Communicate, collaborate, and coordinate with other members of the treasury functions, prior to and post-closing of the acquisition, as well as other headquarter and business functions as appropriate. 
  • Manage a high performing team (~2-3 direct reports) and oversee that proper controls are in place.  
  • Prepare and deliver management presentations and have a proven track record of working cross-functionally to achieve complex projects.  
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the Treasury function
  • Develop and manage relationships with outside advisors and relationship banking partners. 
  • Assessment of new technologies to increase efficiency and improve treasury capabilities 
  • Review and recommendation of treasury & banking solutions for implementation by Industrial Fire 
  • Design, implementation, and monitoring of Treasury KPIs

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ degree
  • 10+ years of experience in treasury and/or corporate finance. 
  • 10+ years of Treasury Operations and Cash Management experience. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ degree or higher in accounting, economics, finance, or business. 
  • MBA, CTP, CPA, CFA (preferred, but not required). 
  • Prior experience with divestitures or M&A activity.  
  • Treasury Operations and Cash Management experience. 
  • Prior experience in managing a high performing team (~2-3 direct reports) in a multinational corporation. 
  • Ability to communicate, collaborate, and build relationships at all levels of seniority within the Treasury organization and across all functions within an organization. 
  • Experience in working with numerous ERP systems (i.e., SAP, JDE, Oracle) and Treasury management systems is preferred. 
  • Self-motivated, able to work under pressure, and independently and carry out assigned responsibilities. 
  • Excellent analytical ability and able to identify improvement opportunities. 
  • Strong business acumen and creative problem-solving skills. 
  • Active participant in career development and succession planning processes.

Pay Range:

$166,519 - $232,919 Annually
