Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Gas Safe Service Engineer to join our team, providing exceptional service within the HVAC hire sector, specifically focused on large boiler rental equipment.

The successful candidate will work independently, handling installations, servicing, and repairs both on-site and at the depot, ensuring all work is performed to a high standard while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Mobile position with travel to sites and the depot in Falkirk. No overnight travel. Standard working hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00/5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation, maintenance, and servicing of large gas and oil commercial/industrial boilers at client sites and depots.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to service calls, performing breakdowns, routine maintenance, installations, and deinstallations.
• Inspect, clean, and service equipment returned from hire, completing pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and all necessary safety and electrical tests.
• Refurbish HVAC rental equipment at the depot, including cleaning, painting, repairs, and maintaining equipment to a high standard.
• Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth communication and effective service delivery to clients.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Must Have:

  • Gas Safe qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working with commercial/industrial boilers.
  • Valid driving license for site visits and travel between locations.
