As part of the Carrier Commercial Refrigeration (CCR) Communications & Marketing team, this position will support the successful planning and execution of trade shows and customer events. This individual will also work closely with our regional/country teams for local communication support and customer engagement activities. S/he must be comfortable in a high-performing, fast-paced environment, be adept at multi-tasking and maintain a strong commitment to quality.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Research, plan and manage marketing-related events, including trade shows, conferences, seminars and customer events.

  • Develop marketing materials and innovative displays to promote products, solutions and services.

  • Manage end-to-end logistics, including contract negotiations, event planning, coordination and logistics, event communications, marketing materials, website and social media updates, event surveys, as well as coordination of booth design, build and tear down.

  • Responsible for negotiating with industry event managers, venues and vendors.

  • Act as an on-site manager at events to ensure smooth execution.

  • Develop event planning documents, including activities, responsibilities, due dates and budget.

  • Maintain an up-to-date calendar and ensure cross-functional understanding of event objectives, plans and priorities.

  • Manage event records, reports and budgets.

  • Develop product, solutions and services promotional materials, including digital/print content, brochures, videos, translations, etc.

  • Support regional/country teams by offering counsel and hands-on support. Provide credible expertise, relevant insights and efficient solutions.


Qualifications:

  • 5 years of communications or marketing experience, including event coordination experience.

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.

  • Work product and communications will be conducted in English. Fluent professional English is mandatory for this position. French and/or German are also preferred.

  • Some work travel, including international travel, is required for this position.

  • Resourceful in gathering information from across the organization.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and thrive in a dynamic environment.

  • Given the nature of the global business landscape, must be flexible and reachable in the event of deadlines and quick-turn requests.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Business, Marketing, Journalism, or related field of study required.
