About the role

Supervises the execution of Quality Assurance objectives. May lead a team of Quality Assurance entry level professional employees. Sets day-to-day objectives for the achievement of immediate Quality Assurance goals within area of responsibility.

Ensure that production processes meet the requirements and specifications in accordance with quality standards.

Role Responsibilities

• Ensure external customer requirements are met.
• Ensure the introduction of new products.
• Provide acceptance criteria for internal processes.
• Supervises execution of plans, guidelines, policies, and processes to ensure the achievement of quality targets.
• Supervises elements of organization projects or processes to ensure overall quality is continuously improving.
• Supervises quality improvement processes to ensure ongoing reductions in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and escapes.
• Supervises the collection and analysis of quality information for use in the development of quality strategy and programs.
• Reviews production processes, ensuring quality standards are met and making recommendations for quality improvement.

Minimum Requirements

• Engineering Degree: IME, IMA, IQ, IIA.
• Experience in Quality Roles: 2 years.
• Experience in the Metalworking Industry: 2 years.
• Core Tools (MSA, SPC, APQP, FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP).
• RRCA (Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving).
• Basic Statistics (Control Charts, Histograms).
• Use of measurement instruments (micrometers, microscopes, universal testing machines).
• Lean Manufacturing.
• ISO 9001.
• Personnel Management.
• Advanced English.
