Role Purpose

The Residential Pricing department is seeking a high-energy and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Pricing & Analytics Manager. This position will lead and support a directly reporting Senior Data Analyst and, as part of the pricing leadership team, will participate in the leadership and support of a team of pricing analysts.

The Pricing & Analytics Manager will own the pricing analytics roadmap, which includes a variety of projects to drive strategic initiatives and process efficiencies. A successful candidate will develop a deep understanding of North America Residential HVAC pricing strategy and processes, and will proactively identify, design, implement, and lead improved uses of data and tools to enhance processes and empower the pricing team. As part of an agile and dynamic team, the Pricing & Analytics Manager will have opportunities for broader growth and development through the support of essential pricing activities -- understanding product and distribution channels, developing customer relationships, assessing the market, and implementing pricing strategies.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Leads the development of new analytics, automation, and reporting projects and the improvement of existing approaches to enhance decision making, deliver on strategic pricing priorities, and increase team productivity
  • Lead and motivate a team of data and pricing analysts focused on analytics tools, forecasting, and account management
  • Utilizes analytical techniques and tools to combine data from multiple sources to evaluate the success of pricing programs and identify revenue enhancement and margin improvement opportunities
  • Gathers business intelligence from internal and external sources to evaluate changing market trends, strategies, and the effectiveness of pricing actions
  • Develop cost-benefit analyses, financial impact analyses, and competitive analyses of price structures to lead successful price negotiations
  • Works cross-functionally with FP&A, Sales, and other teams as a Pricing business partner
  • Effectively communicates and translates data insights into recommendations for the leadership team
  • Communicates process and system changes to the team by translating complex functionality into business relevant language
  • Maintains existing pricing dashboards and tools to ensure data accuracy and optimization

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years’ experience working in a complex business environment with a focus in data analysis, pricing, or financial planning and analysis (FP&A)

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Finance or other relevant field
  • MA/MS/MBA preferred.
  • Working knowledge of PowerBI, Salesforce, Tableau, or SAP
  • Working knowledge of analytics tools such as Alteryx, Python, SQL, or SAS
  • Experience leading one or more direct reports
  • FP&A or P&L forecasting experience a plus
