Marketing Communications Manager, Carrier Fire & Security Industrial Fire (M4)

Join our team in developing and implementing marketing communication strategies that impact the customer experience. This role will partner closely with a global marketing communications team and business unit teams to tailor the solutions based on customer needs. The position reports to the global Carrier Fire & Security Communications Director and dotted line to the Vice President, Industrial Fire, Carrier Fire & Security.
Leading the Industrial Fire marketing communications team
Development of integrated marketing communications strategies and plans in support of the industrial firebrands (e.g., Det-Tronics, Autronica, Marioff)
Collaboration with strategic marketing and product management counterparts across the business unit
Leading marketing communications for the access solution businesses
Providing senior executives with counsel and recommendations on effective strategic communications to advance business objectives with multiple audiences
Help build Carrier’s Fire & Security reputation and awareness
Drive external brand & product awareness through frequent, consistent, compelling communications including product launches, events, and campaigns
Innovating in communications efforts by staying on top of the trends and latest best practices in brand building
Partner with the global marketing communications team in executing plans
Integrating expertise to create, design, edit, and review communications prior to release to ensure message consistency and alignment with the segment’s shared responsibilities and corporate branding.
Ensure timely response and action with regard to any potential and ongoing reputational issues.
Effective communication and escalation process management from business to global teams
Expertise or skills in:
Demonstrated track record of successful, proactive strategic communications programs that employ creativity and use a variety of communications channels (external and internal).
Around 7 years of experience in the communications or marketing field
Experience with integration of paid, owned, and earned media strategies
Experience in traditional and new media, including social media (knowledge of influencer marketing is a plus)
Must demonstrate exceptional communications skills both in written and verbal form.
Ability to translate complicated concepts into a common language.
Strong project management and consulting skills.
Event management experience
Ability to work in a constantly changing corporate environment, independently as well as on a team, and interact with all levels of management in a professional and positive manner.
Ability to manage time efficiently, work on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Proven leadership, credibility, and collaboration skills.
Experience working with key stakeholders internally and externally
Agency management experience
Experience leading teams and budgets
Ability to assess data to help monitor and track results
Advanced Degree or training in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations, International Relations, or any other related communications/marketing field.
Fluency in English is required
The preferred location is Minneapolis, MN (alternative location Palm Beach Gardens) or easy access to these locations
