This position is for an experienced Materials & Logistics professional who will work independently, monitor material distribution, develop standard operating procedures, evaluate inventory costs, and set service rates. Will also work with internal and external parties, consult with department heads on warehouse activities and respond to customer inquiries.

Job description

- Entering and maintaining logistic master data, implementing the change management process (entering data – parameters of parts into the system, checking the correctness of data, etc.)

- Setting, reassessing, improving the internal material flow

- Communication with suppliers (entering and processing orders, obtaining price offers from suppliers, complaints, etc.)

- Cooperation and active participation in internal projects, visualization of the impact of projects on storage and logistics areas

- Keeping data on warehouse locations up-to-date

- Setting control cycles, printing kanban cards

- Management of the cart agenda, search for possible savings and optimizations

- Visualization of material flow

- Creation of work instructions related to the given agenda

Requirements

• Experience in internal logistics in the manufacturing sector
• Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• A high level of diligence and responsibility, especially when working with data
• A sense of meeting the specified deadlines
• Independence and at the same time the ability to work in a team
• Actively searching for and proposing opportunities for improvement and optimizations
• Able to communicate in Czech / Slovak and English

Advantage

• Experience working with SAP
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Solid Edge
