About the role

For our biggest manufacturing site in Europe in Myto near Pilsen with over 600 workers we are looking for ambitious colleague with passion for finance to challenge her/his skills and act as the right hand of the CFO and left hand of the plant manager.

Requirements

We are looking for candidate, who is eager to further grow in our organization and who is willing to go extra mile to understand the business drivers and is able to propose and lead the corrective actions and make them happen. If this is you, get in touch!

As a minimum you must have:

  • Previous experience with Financial Planning or Financial Controlling
  • Analytical skills, passionate about math and logical thinking
  • Practical knowledge of accounting
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables and similar)
  • Good knowledge of financial systems in general, preferably HFM (Oracle) and SAP
  • English and Czech language (daily basis)
  • High ethical standards

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

  • Experience in US GAAP is a plus
  • Prior experience of working in an international environment
  • Experience in manufacturing site is big advantage
  • Hands on and solution-oriented approach
  • Ability to meet the deadlines and deliver results
  • SQL and MS Access is plus
  • Willingness to learn a lot and kick off the steep carrier path


Responsibilities:

As a Senior Analyst - Financial Planning and Analysis, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Provide the financial leadership and discipline for the manufacturing site in Myto
  • Leading regular monthly reporting, forecasting and planning cycles
  • Supporting the month end closing activities including final review & financial approval
  • Presentation of monthly results to local and regional management
  • Manage the integrity of financial data (accuracy and completeness of the information available), ensuring all internal and external reporting requirements can be met within tight deadlines
  • Preparing local management reports and comment variances
  • Identification of weak spots in the system and developing corrective actions
  • Follow-up the identified variances and drive profitability improvement actions
  • Ad hoc analysis
  • Support process improvement actions
  • Support control procedures (operational cycles)
