RESPONSIBILITIES:

Carrier is seeking a high-energy and self-motivated data evangelist to join the residential pricing team and help shape Carrier’s future profitability as a Senior Pricing Data Analyst. If the following describes you, we’re excited for you to join our team!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the monthly price and provision rate forecasts, monitor accuracy, and identify opportunities to improve forecast modeling to reduce variances

• Drive alignment with cross-functional finance and sales teams to understand monthly price forecast variances and monitor changing market conditions

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to translate business needs into data-driven solutions against Carrier’s strategic priorities

• Lead the development of new analytics, automation, and reporting projects and the improvement of existing approaches to enhance decision making, deliver on strategic pricing priorities and increase team productivity

• Develop and deploy data visualization tools to inform decision making and improve the experience for internal and external customers

• Communicate process and system changes to the team by translating complex functionality into business-relevant language and developing training materials as needed

Experience/Qualifications 

• 3+ years of experience working in a complex business environment with a heavy focus on analytics

• Ability to sift through large amounts of data, perform statistical analysis, identify critical information, and develop actionable solution options

• Ability to communicate technical data in an understandable way to non-technical audiences

• Demonstrated project management capabilities to deliver multiple projects on time and on-budget

• Experience with complex customer service, pricing, sales operations, and/or sales

• Experience with monthly reporting metrics, data collection, manipulation & analysis

• Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office especially Excel

• Proven capability to communicate professionally in written and verbal format

• Proven capability to work effectively with all levels of the organization as well as external customers

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with SAP and Salesforce

• Experience with analytics tools such as Alteryx, SQL or SAS, Python

• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Domo

• HVAC industry knowledge

Education / Certifications 

• BA/BS degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, Statistics, or Data Science

• BA/BS degree w/3+ years’ experience

• MA/MS/MBA degree w/2+ years’ experience
